How we got here
Helpfeel started in Silicon Valley in 2007 focused on web services that were truly easy to use for everyone, to bring technology as close as possible to the simplicity of breathing. Closing the gap between intention and potential is our business then and now.
Since 2007 Helpfeel has grown to serve millions of people across the US, Japan, and the world. We are proud to have business customers and partners from solo entrepreneurs to enterprise corporations in the global top 20.
Nota, Inc. is founded in California by Isshu Rakusai. Over the following years the company ships a range of web services, including Gyazo, Cosense, and Helpfeel itself.
The Helpfeel self-service search product debuts, built on intent-prediction technology invented by Toshiyuki Masui.
The team relocates to Japan and completes a corporate inversion. A new Japanese parent company is established in Kyoto, with the original US entity, Nota, Inc., becoming its wholly owned subsidiary.
The company raises a Series B round from investors including Salesforce Ventures Japan and One Capital to accelerate growth.
Nota, Inc. is renamed Helpfeel Inc., putting the flagship product front and center as the company doubles down on customer support.
Helpfeel now serves 625+ businesses with a 99% renewal rate, and is offering its AI-powered self-service platform across the US and around the world.
